Hello!
Now that we are not teaching in Bangalore and given the current COVID scenario, we are now teaching online pottery wheel workshops :)
So here are all the details you need to know to register for these workshops.
Who can join?
These workshops are for pottery students who’ve done basics of pottery wheel throwing at any studio. You should be able to wedge your clay, make a cylinder, a bowl of minimum 400gms.
Its alright if you don’t feel that you can make a good bowl or cylinder, if you know your wheel basics, you can sign up.
What setup do you need for this workshop?
- An electric potters wheel, a stool, wedging table, stoneware or terracotta clay (atleast 10kgs), basic pottery toolkit, weigh scale, a few buckets to store slurry, dry clay and Plastic packets.
- You will also need a device and zoom application through which I can teach you. It’ll be great if you can get a small tripod so the focus can be on the pot when you’re throwing in class.
